Who Are We?

A Scottish Country Dance group was first formalized in St. Catharines in 1960. This group became the St. Catharines Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society in 1964. Since that time, the branch has offered classes, workshops, dances, and demonstrations of Scottish Country Dancing. At present, the Branch consists of approximately 70 members. Classes for beginners, intermediate and experienced dancers are offered weekly. Dances with live music are held in September, December and May. In June, we dance outside in the pavilion in Montebello Park.
